Dylan Cisney
CEO/Project Manager
I grew up in an off-the grid home in Northern California 30 minutes from the closest paved road. Spending my childhood in nature was formative and has guided me towards my career as a builder and a feeling of responsibility for the environment. I studied Architecture and Ecological Design at UC Berkeley which opened my eyes to the importance and benefits of good design. I am now very fortunate to be raising my daughter in the mountains that I grew up visiting and exploring while helping people with the design and construction of their homes.
Education
B.A. in Architecture, University of California, Berkeley
Minor in Ecological Design
Experience
2020-Present
In spring 2020 I incorporated my company as Peak Design and Construction, Inc. Our focus is on residential remodels, additions and construction management in the North Lake Tahoe area.

2008-2019
I founded Peak Design Works while working for Spyrock Hammers to be able to do the drafting and permitting needed for some of the custom homes we were building. In 2014 I moved to Palo Cedro, CA, got my contractor's license and built up a small residential design and construction company doing projects in Mendocino, Sonoma, San Francisco, Placer, Nevada and Shasta counties. In 2017, I moved to Truckee, CA and started the company in a new location again.

2001-2014
Worked for Spyrock Hammers (general contractor), building custom homes, off grid homes, remodels and empty lot developments in Mendocino, California. I started as a general laborer while in high school and progressed to superintendent after graduating college. We had a full wood shop and would produce all of our own stain grade cabinets and interior wood work.
